The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) needs a small business to provide husbandry services for its ship, the Thomas Jefferson, while it's in the Great Lakes area.
Key Details
What exactly do they need? The NOAA Ship Thomas Jefferson requires husbandry services while in the Great Lakes area. This includes providing waste oil and oily waste pump-out services at multiple ports, as well as handling agent management fees. The vendor will need to confirm services requested per each clinic and dates of arrival/departure.
What's the contract structure and timeline? The government will award a firm fixed price contract based on best value to the government. The contract will be for a period of performance from June 1, 2026 to September 30, 2026. The option to extend services will be exercised as needed during the life of the contract.
How will they pick the winner? The evaluation basis will be based on experience/past performance, availability (services, dates, and pier location), and price. Option clinic will also be evaluated based on overall availability and best price.
When and how do you bid? Quotes must be submitted via electronic means (email) no later than June 5, 2026 at 5pm ET. The email should be sent to Alexander.CanceLa@noaa.gov. All questions must be submitted in writing to the same email address by June 4, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. ET.
