What exactly do they need? The Navy needs a small business to manufacture Inconel and Titanium parts for the Naval Research Laboratory. The parts will be delivered to the NRL Marine Corrosion Facility in Key West, Florida.

What's the contract structure and timeline? This is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) on a Firm-Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) basis. The contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.

How will they pick the winner? The Government will evaluate offers based on the lowest price technically acceptable. The lowest price offer or multiple offers will be forwarded to the requiring activity for technical evaluation.
