What exactly do they need?
The Iowa City VA Health Care System needs a contractor to install a cold-water Sediment Filtration System between the City domestic supply and the facility's distribution infrastructure. The installation will include, but is not limited to, the installation of a VA-provided LiquiTech brand (Model LFSKID-4XLP-2) Sediment Filtration System, as well as providing all required piping, valves, hardware, etc. necessary for proper installation. Bypasses will also be installed by the contractor so that future maintenance can be performed on the completed Sediment Filtration System without disrupting the domestic cold-water supply to the facility.
What's the contract structure and timeline?
The contract will be a firm fixed-price contract with a period of performance of sixty (60) calendar days from issuance of a Notice to Proceed (NTP). The Notice to Proceed date/issuance will be coordinated between VA and Contractor following award.
