The Army needs a small business to install an automated gate system at a military base in Gulfport, MS.

Key Details

  • What exactly do they need? The contractor shall furnish and install a complete, turn-key automated gate system at an Installation Access Control Point. The system must feature a hard wired "OPEN/CLOSE/STOP" control station, a battery backup system capable of 50 cycles, and a manual override. All installed components must be new and outdoor-rated.
  • What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract is a firm-fixed-price contract with a period of performance of one year. The contractor will also provide on-site training to government personnel and a minimum one-year warranty on all parts and labor.
  • How will they pick the winner? The evaluation basis is lowest price technically acceptable.
  • When and how do you bid? Submit a quotation through SAM.gov by July 1, 2026.
