- What exactly do they need? The Department of Defense needs a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business to provide Joint Terminal Attack Controller Instructor/Evaluator support and Joint Interface Control Officer support for the Marine Forces Special Operations Command. This includes assisting the Assistant Chief of Staff (AC/S) G-3 Air/Fires in the facilitation of the MARFORSOC JTAC program and other Air/Fires mission sets throughout the command. Additionally, the contractor will assist the AC/S G-3 Air/Fires in the facilitation of Multi-Tactical Data Link Network (MTN) operations and coordination for the Joint Domain Network (JDN) within MARFORSOC's theater of operations.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? This is a competitive, best-value tradeoff acquisition conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13.5. The Government intends to award a Single Award Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract resulting from this solicitation. Task orders issued under this IDIQ will be Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP).
- How will they pick the winner? The Government will conduct a best-value tradeoff evaluation based on the proposal's technical merit and price.
