What exactly do they need? The Air Force needs a small business to provide launch control center cleaning services at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming. This includes management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to perform cleanings in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
What's the contract structure and timeline? This is a Firm Fixed-Price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract with an initial Task Order for the minimum quantity. The contract will last for 5 years, with an initial task order for the first three cleanings and additional task orders awarded at the Government's discretion.
How will they pick the winner? The Government will award a contract to the responsible vendor whose quote provides the best value to the Government, based on price, technical capability, and past performance.
