What exactly do they need? The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers needs a contractor to repair the levee at MRLS L246. The work includes earthwork operations, bringing in fill and borrow material, haul road development, clearing of debris, erosion repair, rutting repair, levee surfacing, stone surfacing/placement, installation of stone armored protection, installation and rehabilitation of drainage structures, and establishment of turf for repairs of compromised landside, riverside, and crown levee sections.
What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract with an estimated performance period of approximately 365 calendar days. The solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB), open to all Small Businesses.
