What exactly do they need? The U.S. Army needs a small business to repair levees at Saline County Levee District #2, Ray-Carroll Bottoms Consolidated Levee District of Carroll County, and Howard County Levee District #4. The work includes earthwork operations, bringing in fill and borrow material, haul road development, clearing of debris, erosion repair, rutting repair, levee surfacing, stone surfacing/placement, installation of stone armored protection, installation and rehabilitation of drainage structures, and establishment of turf for repairs of compromised landside, riverside, and crown levee sections.
What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract with an estimated performance period of approximately 365 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
How will they pick the winner? The Government will evaluate proposals based on the lowest price technically acceptable.
When and how do you bid? The solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB), open to all Small Businesses. Bids will be due on the date and time specified in the solicitation. Electronic bid submission is required through the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) at https://wawf.eb.mil.
