- What exactly do they need? The US Coast Guard needs a small business to supply lockpin assemblies for its aircraft. The assemblies must be new, approved parts with clear traceability to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation. The contractor must provide a Certificate of Conformance (COC) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 52.246-15.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, and the USCG intends to place an order for a quantity of thirty (30) items. The contract will be firm-fixed price, and the requested delivery date is September 22, 2026. The USCG may require an additional quantity of twenty (20) items for a maximum quantity of fifty (50) items at the same price and lead time as the original order.
- How will they pick the winner? The USCG will evaluate quotations based on the lowest price technically acceptable.
