The work consists of removing shoal material from within the Wax Lake Outlet approach channels to the East and West Calumet Floodgates and disposing of the dredged material into the Wax Lake Outlet channel beyond the -35-foot contour.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? The solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB) in accordance with FAR Part 14. The resulting contract will be Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) with an estimated period of performance of approximately 40 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed.
- How will they pick the winner? The contract will be awarded to the bidder with the lowest price technically acceptable.
