- What exactly do they need? The U.S. Army needs a small business to perform maintenance dredging in Pass-a-Grille Pass, Florida. The work includes environmental monitoring, water quality monitoring, beach fill quality control, screening, vibration control and monitoring, and beach tilling. The contractor must commence work within 60 calendar days, prosecute the work diligently, and complete the entire work ready for use not later than 120 calendar days.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract is a task order under the Small Business Dredging MATOC Pool. The request for proposal will be issued on or about October 06, 2026, and proposals will be due on or about November 06, 2026. The award of the task order will be made on the basis of Lowest Price Technical Acceptable (LPTA).
- How will they pick the winner? The winner will be selected based on the lowest price technically acceptable.
- When and how do you bid? Proposals will be due on or about November 06, 2026. The request for proposal will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on the System for Award Management website at https://.sam.gov/.
