Master BPA for Commercial Supplies and Services

U.S. Department of Defense
Updated Jul 14, 2022 · 17:10 UTC

The Navy needs a small business to provide standard commercial supplies and services at competitive prices.

Key Details

The Navy wants to establish Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) with companies that provide standard commercial supplies and services. The BPA categories include hand tools, HVAC, and safety coveralls, among others. Interested companies must provide documentation addressing their capabilities and BPA categories, a complete and returned price list, and an active account in the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) and System for Award Management (SAM).

What's the contract structure and timeline?

The contract is a Master BPA with BPA calls that will not exceed the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. The notice doesn't say how long the contract will last.

How will they pick the winner?

The Navy will evaluate proposals based on technical merit, and vendors who are found to have technical merit will be issued a Master BPA to bid on future requirements.

When and how do you bid?

Interested companies must submit a response with the required documentation and price list by the response deadline. The notice doesn't say how to submit the bid.

Routine commodity buy — low-effort bid, modest payoff.
