What exactly do they need? The VA Maine Healthcare System needs a small business to provide medical-grade gas cylinder deliveries for its facilities and clinics throughout Maine. The contractor shall supply the facilities listed above with the compressed gases listed in Section A. Deliveries need to be made weekly any time after 9:00 am but before 3:00 pm without fail excluding holidays at which point a needs assessment will be completed, and the company will push delivery date to the previous or next business day.
What's the contract structure and timeline? This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products and commercial services. The contract will be for a base year with up to four (4) option years. The period of performance is from the date of award until the end of the contract term.
How will they pick the winner? The evaluation will be based on the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) method.
When and how do you bid? Bids are due on June 2, 2026, at 9:00 PM EST. The bid must be submitted electronically through the System for Award Management (SAM) website located at https://sam.gov/.
