The Army needs a microgrid system that provides energy resilience for 14+ days for mission critical functions, utilizing renewable and fossil fuel energy sources. The system will include a ground-mounted 750kW photovoltaic (PV) solar system, a 750kWh battery energy storage system (BESS), an 800kW diesel backup generation system, and a 10,000-gallon fuel storage tank.
What's the contract structure and timeline?
This is a firm-fixed-price contract with an estimated cost range of $10M-$25M. The contract will be awarded after the funds are made available.
