- What exactly do they need? The Army needs a microgrid system that provides energy resilience for 14+ days for mission-critical functions, using renewable and fossil fuel energy sources. The system will include a ground-mounted 750kW photovoltaic solar system, a 750kWh battery energy storage system, an 800kW diesel backup generation system, and a master microgrid controller.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? This is a firm-fixed-price contract with an estimated cost range of $10M-$25M. The contract will be awarded after the funds are made available.
