- What exactly do they need? The VA needs mobile dental scanners for its health care system. The requirement is for Mobile Dental Scanners for Birmingham VA Health Care System, please reference attached Statement of Need (SON).
- What's the contract structure and timeline? This is a firm-fixed price contract with a 60-day acceptance period. The contract will be awarded to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
- How will they pick the winner? The Government will evaluate the price by adding the total of all line-item prices, including all options (if applicable). Offers that do not meet or exceed the technical capability to the Government requirement, as stated in Factor 1, shall not be selected regardless of price.
- When and how do you bid? Submit your quote to thaddeus.gray@va.gov no later than 12:00pm ET, July 30, 2026. The quote shall not be hand carried, faxed, or accepted via email with attachments exceeding 4MB.
