The U.S. Coast Guard needs a small business to provide motor controllers for its anchor windlass control boxes.

Key Details

  • What exactly do they need? The Coast Guard needs motor controllers for its new anchor windlass control boxes. The controllers must support the 270 A & B Class Port & Stbd Schellhorn-Albrecht anchor windlass. The offeror must be an authorized distributor of the OEM (Schoellhorn-Albrecht Machine Co.) and provide genuine OEM parts.
  • What's the contract structure and timeline? The Coast Guard intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract on an all or none basis to a responsible offeror. The contract will be awarded based on the lowest price technically acceptable.
  • How will they pick the winner? The Coast Guard will evaluate proposals based on the offeror's ability to provide the required motor controllers and their price.
  • When and how do you bid? Submit your quote by July 24, 2026, at 10:00 am Eastern Standard Time. Include a letter from the OEM verifying that you are an authorized distributor and that they will supply genuine OEM parts. Also, provide your company Tax Information Number (TIN) with your offer.
