The U.S. Coast Guard needs a small business to manufacture multicoupler units for its depots.

Key Details

  • What exactly do they need? The Coast Guard needs multicoupler units, manufactured by THALES DEFENSE & SECURITY, INC., with specific packaging and protection requirements. The units must be individually packaged according to ASTM-D3951-10, have electrostatic protection according to MIL-B-81705C, and be individually marked according to MIL-STD 129 W/CHANGE 4. Bar coding is also required.
  • What's the contract structure and timeline? This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item, with a firm fixed price contract. The Coast Guard intends to award on an all or none basis to a responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation.
  • How will they pick the winner? The winner will be chosen based on the lowest price technically acceptable.
  • When and how do you bid? Quotations are due on July 6, 2026, at 1:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, and must be submitted via email to Eric.I.Goldstein@uscg.mil.
