This project involves flattening the landside slope along the American River, site excavation, and re-use of approximately 15,000 cubic yard levee embankment fill and borrow site excavation and import of approximately 12,000 cubic yard levee embankment fill.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? The Government intends to solicit an Invitation for Bids (IFB) that will result in award of a firm-fixed price contract. The project is anticipated to take approximately 2.18 miles and will include site excavation and re-use of approximately 15,000 cubic yard levee embankment fill and borrow site excavation and import of approximately 12,000 cubic yard levee embankment fill.
- How will they pick the winner? The Government will evaluate bids based on the lowest price technically acceptable.
- When and how do you bid? Bids are due in August 2026 and must be submitted through the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) and Governmentwide Point of Entry, the System for Award Management (SAM).
