The Navy needs a small business to manufacture non-insulated ducts for its ships.
Key Details
- What exactly do they need? The Navy needs 15 units of non-insulated ducts in three sizes: 16" x 25 FT, 20" x 25 FT, and 24" x 25 FT. Each duct must be made of double-ply black PVC vinyl coated polyester fabric, reinforced with a spring steel wire helix, and have gray external wearstrip. The color must not be yellow or magenta.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, and the contract will be awarded based on lowest price technically acceptable. The required deliver date is July 31, 2026.
- How will they pick the winner? The evaluation will be based on technical acceptability and price reasonableness. The technical capability portion of the quote must include lead time, specifications, and a complete list of supplies.
