- What exactly do they need? The Navy needs a small business to provide the Open Athens Compass. The procurement is for new equipment only, and the vendor must be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), an OEM authorized dealer, an authorized distributor, or an authorized reseller for the proposed equipment/system.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside on a Firm-Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) basis. The contract will include the terms and conditions set forth in the solicitation.
- How will they pick the winner? The Government will award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The evaluation will be based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable.
