What exactly do they need? The VA needs a patient monitoring and telemetry system for its Salt Lake City hospital. The system must include ICU patient monitors, anesthesia patient monitors, mid-acuity patient monitors, telemetry patient monitors, transport patient monitors, low-acuity patient monitors, central stations, and limited functionality central stations. The system must also include management systems, training, installation, de-installation, and disposal of existing equipment.
What's the contract structure and timeline? This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a firm-fixed price contract. The contract will be awarded on an all-or-nothing basis. The VA anticipates awarding a contract resulting from this solicitation.
How will they pick the winner? The VA will evaluate quotations based on technical capability or quality of the item offered, completion of the Buy American Certificate, price, delivery lead and implementation time, and submission of the authorized distributor letter.
When and how do you bid? Quotes are due by July 31st, 2026. Quotes must be submitted via email to Stephanie Cahill at stephanie.cahill@va.gov. The VA reserves the right to make the award solely on initial quotes received.

There's a mandatory site visit on July 7th, 2026, and a live Q&A session on July 14th, 2026. Vendors must RSVP for the site visit and request to be included in the Q&A session via email.
