This is a firm-fixed-price contract.
The contractor shall provide all work, labor, materials, related fees, and related services for construction requested herein until completion and acceptance of the entire work.

When and how do you bid?
The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be posted on or about 7 August 2026.
A site visit/Pre-con Conference is planned for 13 August 2026.
The expected suspense date for Requests for Information (RFIs) is 27 August 2026.
The Solicitation will have details about the Bid due and opening dates.

Routine commodity buy — low-effort bid, modest payoff.

You must have at least 5 years of experience with similar railroad work and be fully compliant with FRA certifications.

A bid Guarantee is required (at least 20% of the bid price or $3,000,000; whichever is less).
Performance and Payment bonds must equal 100% of the original Contract price.
The awardee of this contract will be required to provide a Superintendent at all times work is being performed on the project.
