The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) needs a small business to repair and refurbish Navy equipment.

Key Details

The NOAA National Weather Service needs a small business to repair and refurbish 101 each OPERATOR INTERFACE DEVICE (OID) THIN CLIENT TERMINAL EMULATOR, AXEL ENTERPRISES INC, MODEL AX300/M7, ASN: S100-11DS22-1 and 32 each AX3000/M75C PLATINE TERMINAL 75, ASN: S100-41DS28-2. The vendor must be able to demonstrate their ability to complete this requirement for the equipment listed. The Government intends to issue a Purchase Order (PO) resulting from this Request For Quotation (RFQ) to the compliant and responsible quoter whose quote results in the best value to the Government, considering both price and non-price factors utilizing a comparative evaluation.

  • What exactly do they need? The vendor must be able to repair and refurbish the equipment to meet the original manufacturer's specifications and/or tolerances. The vendor must also provide a warranty on all repairs and reconditioning of the repaired equipment.
  • What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract will be a firm-fixed price PO with a duration of 3 years. The vendor must deliver the repaired equipment within 14 days of receipt of a signed PO.
  • How will they pick the winner? The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all lines which will include return shipping and any discount terms. The vendor's technical approach, past performance, and delivery terms will also be evaluated.
  • When and how do you bid? The bid deadline is June 25, 2026, at 5:00 PM EST. The vendor must submit a written quote package in response to this RFQ.
