- What exactly do they need? The Army needs a contractor to replace two existing air handler units with two new ones, one 43.75 Nominal Ton and one 50 Nominal Ton, serving Building 3417 on the Hawaii Air National Guard campus. The contractor must ensure proper connection to the existing HVAC duct system and correct communication with the existing digital control system.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a request for proposal (RFP) with a period of performance of 365 days. The contractor will provide temporary cooling for the affected portion of the building during the replacement of each AHU.
- How will they pick the winner? The government will evaluate offers and award a contract without discussions with offerors. The initial offer should contain the offeror's best terms.
