The Department of Veterans Affairs needs a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business to replace three steam boilers at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center in Dublin, GA.

  • What exactly do they need? The contractor will provide management, supervision, materials, tools, and labor to replace three steam boilers in Building 27 at the Carl Vinson VAMC Dublin, Georgia. The work includes temporary boiler plant and control room, hazardous material abatement, demolition of existing plant equipment, piping, and electricity, installation of new plant equipment and piping, site work, fuel tank installation and piping, and emergency generator installation based on provided A/E design drawings and specifications.
  • What's the contract structure and timeline? The proposed project will be a competitive, firm-fixed-price contract utilizing the design-bid-build approach. The performance period is 730 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed.
  • How will they pick the winner? The evaluation will consider Technical and Price Factors.
  • When and how do you bid? Submit a response (electronic submission) of no more than four (4) single-sided pages, single-spaced, 12-point font minimum that addresses the required information. The response must be submitted as a single application-generated (not scanned) PDF document that is less than or equal to 4MB in size.
