The VA needs a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business to replace water heaters and boilers at the Amarillo VA Healthcare System.
Key Details
- What exactly do they need? The VA needs a contractor to replace two 40-Gal water heaters with one 100-Gal water heater in Building 35 and replace three boilers in Building 46 at the Amarillo VA Healthcare System.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price Construction contract with a period of performance of 120 calendar days or less after issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
- How will they pick the winner? The VA will evaluate quotes based on the lowest price technically acceptable.
- When and how do you bid? The VA will issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ) in accordance with the procedures set forth in Parts 13 and 36 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
Important: Apparent successful quoters must apply for and receive certification from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) Program at https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/ in accordance with 13 CFR Part 128 and VAAR 819.70 The VA Veterans First Contracting Program.
