The Navy needs a small business to manufacture special-purpose 9mm ammunition for law enforcement and military use.

Key Details

What exactly do they need? The Navy needs a small business to manufacture special-purpose 9mm ammunition for law enforcement and military use. This ammunition must only be used in modern handguns explicitly rated for +P compatibility and must account for slightly higher felt recoil and accelerated firearm wear during extended use.

What's the contract structure and timeline? The Government anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), five-year, Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) supply contract.

How will they pick the winner? The award will be made to the responsible offeror whose proposal represents the best value to the Government, considering technical approach, past performance, and price.

When and how do you bid? Proposals must be submitted via the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Solicitation Module (PSM) at https://piee.eb.mil.
