- What exactly do they need? The Coast Guard needs 50 strainer elements for sediment, individually packaged in accordance with MIL-STD-2073-1E Method 10 and marked IAW MIL-STD-129R. The product must be a spare basket, 1 1/2", Model 72 Simplex/Model 50 Duplex, 1/16" perf, stainless steel, with a product length/depth of 6.77 in, product diameter of 3.09 in, and product weight of 0.2 lb.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item, and the Coast Guard intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract on an all or none basis to a responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is the most advantageous to the Government. The award will be made based on the lowest price technically acceptable.
