Key Details
What exactly do they need? The Bureau of Prisons needs a small business to supply subsistence for its facilities, including food and other essential items. The exact items and quantities are listed in the attached quote sheet.
What's the contract structure and timeline? This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products, and the contract will be awarded to the responsible Quoter(s) whose quote conforms to the requirements and is determined to provide the best value to the Government. The contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order or a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Government Purchase Card transaction.
How will they pick the winner? The Government will evaluate the Quoter's proposed price to ensure it is fair and reasonable, and will also evaluate the Quoter's past performance on a Go/No-Go basis. The assessment will be based on the Quoter's record of on-time deliveries and the completeness and accuracy of their orders.
When and how do you bid? The completed solicitation package must be returned no later than 10:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. Vendors shall submit quotes only to Logan Kress, Property and Procurement Specialist, at lkress@bop.gov.
