• What exactly do they need? The Navy needs a small business to lease, install, and maintain a temporary 12-ton AC unit and 30kw diesel generator for its San Diego facilities. The contractor will provide all equipment, transportation, and services required to lease, deliver, install, and maintain the unit and generator. The requirement includes all associated equipment such as hoses, a containment berm, power connections, safety equipment, and a 500-gallon supplemental fuel tank. The contractor will also provide preventative maintenance every 300 hours of operation and all required refueling services.
• What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract with a period of performance from July 1, 2026 to October 31, 2026. The delivery location is COMNAVSURFPAC, 2841 Rendova Rd., San Diego, CA 92155. The F.O.B. point is destination.
• How will they pick the winner? The Government will evaluate quotes based on Technical Approach, Past Performance, and Price. The Technical Approach factor will assess whether the Quoter's quote will satisfy the Government's requirements. The Past Performance factor will evaluate the Quoter's past performance information to determine whether the Quoter has a satisfactory record of past performance. The Price factor will evaluate the Quoter's proposed price.
• When and how do you bid? Quotes are due no later than 10:00 AM PST on 29 September 2026. Quoters will submit their quotes via email only to the Point of Contact, Michelle Muniz, at michelle.a.muniz.civ@us.navy.mil.
