The Bureau of Reclamation needs a small business to deliver a tracked excavator to a Montana dam.

  • What exactly do they need? The Bureau of Reclamation needs a John Deere 245P (or Equal) Tracked Excavator that meets all salient characteristics and required technical details. The excavator must be delivered to the Tiber Dam Camp in Chester, Liberty County, MT, and any/all service and maintenance with OEM parts must be within 150 miles of Chester, MT.
  • What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price award with a single awardee. The notice doesn't say when the contract will start or end.
  • How will they pick the winner? The government will award the contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the government, considering price and other factors.
  • When and how do you bid? The solicitation will be available on SAM.gov on or about July 2, 2026. You must submit your quote electronically through SAM.gov.
