  • What exactly do they need? The Navy needs a small business to provide translation and interpreting services for its facilities in Indian Head, MD. The services will be provided on a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) basis, with the government reserving the right to use additional references if available. The Past Performance will be evaluated based upon Customer Satisfaction, Timeliness, Technical Success, Program Management, and Quality.
  • What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract will be a Master BPA, with a 6-month rotation through June 2029. Interested vendors should provide documentation and references to the contracting officer by email no later than 30 April for a June award, and by 31 October for a December award.
  • How will they pick the winner? The government will evaluate vendors based on their Past Performance, including Customer Satisfaction, Timeliness, Technical Success, Program Management, and Quality. Vendors who are found to have technical and past performance merit will be issued a Master BPA to be able to bid on future requirements.
  • When and how do you bid? Interested vendors should submit their documentation and references to the contracting officer by email, and provide a minimum of three Past Performance References. The government reserves the right to consider past performance information available from other sources, including the Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS), the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS), and the Federal Awardee Performance and Integrity Information System (FAPIIS).
