What exactly do they need? The Navy needs a small business to provide short-haul trucking services for equipment and materials at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. The contractor will relocate approximately 4-5 million pounds of government-owned outdoor equipment and materials between various Naval Base Kitsap (NBK) government sites and government leased facilities. The loading and unloading of materials from contractor vehicles will be the responsibility of government personnel using government owned material handling equipment.

What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract will be a standalone, Firm-Fixed Price contract with a period of performance from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027. The contractor will be required to submit a quote by 16 June 2026, 9:00 am PDT.

How will they pick the winner? The Navy will evaluate proposals based on the lowest price technically acceptable.

When and how do you bid? Proposals must be submitted electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) website by 16 June 2026, 9:00 am PDT. Questions are due by 8 June 2026 at 12:00 pm PDT.
