The Army needs a small business to provide UXO dud survey and clearance services at the Remagen Hand Grenade Range. The vendor shall provide all qualified personnel, supervision, equipment, and materials necessary to perform UXO dud survey and clearance. Key tasks include, but are not limited to: performing surface and sub-surface sweeps using geophysical detection instruments, identifying and marking explosive hazards, and conducting on-site demolition of located ordnance in accordance with all applicable regulations.
What's the contract structure and timeline?
The Army will establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for on-call UXO dud survey and clearance services. The BPA will be established under the authority of RFO FAR Subpart 12.201-1(e)(3).
How will they pick the winner?
The Army will evaluate responses based on technical capability and price. Technical capability is significantly more important than price.
