The U.S. Coast Guard needs a small business to provide valve service kits for its depots.

Key Details

What exactly do they need?

The Coast Guard needs valve service kits for its depots, including 40 units of NSN 4820-01-561-6451 and 12 units of NSN 4820-01-561-6462. The kits must be individually packaged in accordance with MIL-STD-2073-I E Method 10, using weather-resistant paperboard folding with a waterproof barrier material and cushioned in bubble-wrap, bagged, and packed in an appropriately sized ASTM-D5118 double-wall fiberboard box.

What's the contract structure and timeline?

This is a firm fixed price purchase order with a delivery date no later than July 12, 2026. The contract will be awarded on a lowest price technically acceptable basis.

How will they pick the winner?

The Coast Guard will evaluate quotes based on technical acceptability, including compliance with packaging, preservation, and marking requirements, ability to meet or exceed the required delivery schedule, and fairness and reasonableness of price.

When and how do you bid?

Submit a quote by June 12, 2026, through the solicitation number in the header. The quote must include a letter from the Original Equipment Manufacturer stating that the vendor is an authorized distributor/re-seller.

Routine commodity buy — low-effort bid, modest payoff.
