The U.S. Army needs a small business to dredge a 2.4-mile-long channel in Wareham, Massachusetts.

- What exactly do they need? The U.S. Army needs a contractor to dredge up to 52,000 cubic yards of shoaled material from a 10.2-acre area in Wareham Harbor, Massachusetts. The material will be transported by scow and placed at Cape Cod Bay Disposal Site, approximately 35 miles away. A smaller portion of the material is sand and will be placed beneficially at a nearshore site off of Church's Beach in Cuttyhunk, Massachusetts. Dredging operations can start on July 1, 2026, and all work must be complete by December 31, 2026.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract is expected to be a firm-fixed-price contract with a duration of approximately five months. The estimated construction cost is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000.
- How will they pick the winner? The evaluation basis is not specified in the notice.

Offerors must access the System of Award Management website and the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment to download the solicitation.
