The Defense Logistics Agency needs a small business to repair a damaged water main on G Road.

Key Details

  • What exactly do they need? The Defense Logistics Agency needs a permanent, long-term solution for a damaged section of a 12-inch ductile iron water main on G Road. The scope of work includes excavating the damaged section, installing new 12-inch ductile iron water main, disposing of the removed section, conducting a hydrostatic pressure and leak test, and restoring the disturbed surface areas.
  • What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis, and the project must be completed within 75 days after the notice to proceed is issued.
  • How will they pick the winner? The award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable (LPTA) offeror that meets the requirements stated in the Statement of Work and the solicitation.
  • When and how do you bid? Quotes are due on July 3, 2026, end of day, and must be submitted through the System for Award Management (SAM).
