- What exactly do they need? The VA needs a contractor to rebuild the domestic water tanks filter piping at Building 200 of the Sepulveda VA Medical Center. The contractor will provide all necessary supplies, equipment, materials, labor, transportation, and personnel to complete the piping replacement on two Culligan HD 483, 48 x 60x filters. The contractor must install all new brass pipe and fittings, ensure all new components are installed to manufacturer specifications, and minimize disruption to building operations.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? This is a firm-fixed-price contract with a period of performance of 90 days. The contractor must confer with the VA POC to agree on a sequence of procedures, means of access to premises and building, and work hours. Work hours will be Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 4:30pm Pacific time.
- How will they pick the winner? The contract will be awarded based on price-only with special-standards-of-responsibility. Offerors who fail to meet any special standard of responsibility will not be eligible to receive contract award.
