The USDA Forest Service needs a small business to maintain roads and manage vegetation growth in the Willamette National Forest. This includes repairing damage to road surfaces and drainage structures during suppression of the 2024 Willamette Complex fire. The work areas may be reached by Forest roads that are accessible by a standard two-wheel drive pickup equipped with snow tires and chains, if needed, during normal operating seasons.
- What's the contract structure and timeline?
The contract is a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order with a period of performance from the date of award through October 30, 2027. The contractor shall begin work within 10 days of the Post Award Conference. Thirty percent (30%) of roads in the description of work shall be completed by October 30, 2026.
- How will they pick the winner?
The Government intends to make one award from this solicitation. The evaluation will be based on the contractor's pricing for all items.

Submit your quote via email to paula.winningham@usda.gov by July 7, 2026, 2 p.m. PST. Include the Schedule of Items, your written response to the evaluation factors, and a signed SF-1449 form.
