The Air Force needs a small business to design and build a portable wireless communications network for aircraft.

- What exactly do they need? The Air Force needs a portable wireless communications network that can connect all members of the test team on aircraft. The network should have one-way receive capability from the existing aircraft intercom and be self-powered via batteries for a minimum of 30 minutes. It should also be able to be plugged into 115VAC wall power for the duration of the flight test.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? This is a firm fixed-price contract with a total duration of 180 days. The contract will be awarded as a single award to the responsible offeror whose offer is most advantageous to the government.
- How will they pick the winner? The government will evaluate offers based on price and other factors, including features of the supply, delivery terms, and warranty terms. The evaluation will determine the best value to the government.
