SCOPE OF WORK Renovate Patient Restrooms - Construction Project Number 658-24-109 Salem VAMC Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, and qualified supervision necessary to perform work as described in the drawings and specifications for Project #658-24-109 Renovate Patient Restrooms at the Salem VA Medical Center in Salem, VA. Work includes general construction, alterations, plumbing and electrical work, necessary removal of existing structures and certain other items, as is necessary to complete the scope of work. Summary scope of work: The project includes the replacement of 18 toilet rooms with 17 ABAA compliant handicap accessible toilet rooms in expanded footprints. All 18 toilet rooms are in Building 143. The construction time allocated for completion of the work associated with Bid Item I (Base Bid), as described above, is 365 calendar days from notice to proceed (NTP) by the VA. Award is subject to the availability of funds.
