WOSB & EDWOSB NAICS Codes: The Complete List

They're the industries where federal agencies are allowed to set contracts aside for Women-Owned Small Businesses. The SBA designates a NAICS code as WOSB-eligible when women are underrepresented in that industry (or substantially underrepresented, for EDWOSB-only codes). If a solicitation's NAICS code isn't on the list, the contracting officer can't use a WOSB or EDWOSB set-aside for it.

In a WOSB-designated code, any certified WOSB — including EDWOSBs — can compete for the set-aside. In an EDWOSB-designated code, only firms certified as Economically Disadvantaged WOSBs can. A plain WOSB certification does not qualify you for set-asides in EDWOSB-designated industries.

Yes, just not WOSB-type set-asides in that code. You can still compete for general small-business set-asides in any industry (only the size standard applies), plus 8(a), HUBZone, or SDVOSB set-asides if you hold those certifications — and for full-and-open contracts.
