Econ. Disadv. Women-Owned set-asides — common questions

What is an EDWOSB set-aside?expand_more

A contract reserved for Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Businesses — a subset of the WOSB program with added limits on the owner's personal net worth, income, and assets.

How is EDWOSB different from WOSB?expand_more

Every EDWOSB is also a WOSB, but EDWOSB adds economic-disadvantage criteria. Some set-asides are open to any WOSB; others are restricted to EDWOSB firms in industries where women are substantially underrepresented.
